JEI status undermined
The French R & D has just taken a big hit in the wing.
status JEI (young innovative company) that has created thousands of startups in France, which is thus in a few years become the European leader in innovation in the ICT sector, is indeed to seriously be planed.
Summarizing brutally, after 4 years of existence of a society having acquired the status JEI, and all the tax benefits that go with it (exemption of certain payroll taxes for R & D staff, research tax credit), this status will quaqsiment more interest, or clearly months.
Now this deadline, the TPE is still really taking off, knowing that the 1st years have passed them finalize their innovation and then to market it. By denying this deadline of this advantage, given the small number of business angels and seed funds in France (10 times less than in the UK, a country of comparable size in terms of funds raised ...), this amounts to cutting off the fuel of an airplane taking off.
Risk: Thousands of jobs lost R & D in France, for a negligible direct savings (50 million Euros for the state related to these benefits) and an overall loss to the always enormous state (about 1500 million euros over two years ((VAT receipts, investments and start-ups in the economy, ..).
